Abstract
Cannabis and Veterinary Medicine explores the growing role of cannabis in veterinary medicine, highlighting its therapeutic potential and challenges. It discusses the complexities of the endocannabinoid system and its regulation of physiologic processes. Emphasis is placed on cannabinoids like delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, cannabidiol, and minor cannabinoids, alongside terpenes and flavonoids. In addition, the article addresses legal issues, clinical applications, safety, dosing strategies, and the significance of product quality.
